£20,705K (full-time, permanent contract, 35hrs /week, 25 days annual leave)
The advisor will be working as part of Lift’s employment service, which provides direct support and motivation to enable progression of people with complex needs. Working as part of a growing Employment Team you will be supported and mentored by the Employment Director.
You will engage and assess clients and work closely with them to develop and maintain action plans with the end result being sustainable employment. To do this effectively you will have experience of or be willing to train towards; providing outcome focused employment support to disadvantaged people. You will be empathetic, motivational, and pro-active and have excellent communication skills. Above all you will flexible in your approach to working within the team and must be committed to seeing clients grow and develop.

East European Peer Navigator Project Coordinator
£25-27K (full-time contract to end of December 2014 (35hrs /week, 25 days annual leave, flexible working)
The Peer Navigator Project Coordinator is responsible for managing this exciting new project, which is being delivered in partnership with the East European Advice Centre. The Coordinator will be responsible for the delivery of the East European (EE) Peer Navigator Project which aims to prevent homelessness and increase the social and economic well-being amongst EE migrants. The Coordinator will be recruiting and supporting EE volunteer Peer Navigators to provide effective advice, support and signposting.
We require an enthusiastic individual, who works collaboratively and is a strong team player. You will have knowledge of recruiting and managing volunteers and an understanding of homelessness and wider support needs, specifically the needs of EE migrants. You will demonstrate a good track record of managing a diverse workload independently and prioritising work. Strong interpersonal and communication skill to effectively work with a range of partners and stakeholders are essential. A flexible, pro-active and solution focussed approach is required.
Knowledge of an East European language is essential.
Project management skills, including monitoring and evaluation skills are desirable.
